Depending on Shepard’s class you may receive this weapon automatically at the beginning of the quest or you’ll be forced to find it later on during the Mars main quest. You can also buy this weapon at the Batarian State Arms store. You can find this weapon in the corridor to the left of the area where the first large battle with Cerberus units takes place during the Grissom Academy: Emergency Evacuation side quest. It can be bought from the Spectre Requisitions store for 250,000 currency. You can also buy this weapon from the Cipritine Armory store. I missed Assault Rifle extended barrel 3 on priority Tuchanka and for some reason it still isn’t available in any of the shops. You can find this weapon on the ground near the destroyed part of the road during the Tuchanka main quest. You can find this weapon on a shelf inside the observation point during the Rannoch main quest.
You can find this weapon on the ground near the Great Hall area during the Kallini: Ardat-Yakshi Monastery side quest.
